Popular crossdresser, James Brown has taken to Instagram to narrate his hurdles and tough journey towards his fame and popularity.
In a video he shared recently, the crossdresser addressed people asking him for financial aid. He said he didn’t just wake into popularity, that he had his challenges before he got where he is today. He noted that he went and stayed in Ikoyi prison for 1 month in order to achieve the popularity and fame he has today.

“People don’t know this about me. They believe that I just woke up one day and went viral, My dear do you know I went to Ikoyi Prison to become popular”, he said.
James Brown also warned people claiming to have helped him in one way or the other stating that his fame is a result of self-struggle, determination, and smartness.
