Netizens have discarded all forms of emotional intelligence, clinging to anything just to clout chase. Now the big question, who started the hashtag #ifeanyiisalive trend?

Ifeanyi Adeleke, the three-year-old son of Popular Music Star, Davido Adeleke and his fiancée Chioma Rowland was reported dead on Monday 31st October.

The three-year-old drowned in a private swimming pool at Davido’s Banana Island residence, Lagos State, according to a family source who informed Peoples Gazette.

Ever since Ifeanyi’s death broke out on the internet, controversial journalist Kemi Olunloyo made it a personal affair, giving different accounts, allegations and assumptions that could have led to the boy’s death. She even alleged that there is a generational Adeleke curse which should be broken.

Olunloyo even promised to launch a docuseries on the numerous death and generational curse in the family that eventually resulted in Ifeanyi’s death.

She stated that she knows this because  she was friends with Davido’s late mother, Vero Imade Adeleke and babysat Davido a few times and in the course of all these, Davido’s father gave her some vital information about their family.

In a new tweet, the self acclaimed investigative journalist claims that she recently received a call from a prominent Lagos Lawyer who told her that Ifeanyi Adeleke is still alive.

Kemi  Olunloyo went on to assert that if this turns out to be true, Davido and Chioma should be promptly arrested for faking their child’s death.

In her words:

“#BREAKING A prominent Lagos Lawyer called me this afternoon to tell me Davido’s son #ifeanyiisalive. This clout hashtag has been TRENDING for a week. If it turns out this is true, Davido and Chioma should be PROMPTLY ARRESTED for faking their child’s DEATH and lying to Police.

In Journalism they trained us that we must always go to the source. However if it’s a death confirmation we go to police or a family spokesperson. The Adelekes with all their money have not hired a PR person in any capacity. This is a trying time for journalism 👀

Not stopping there, Olunloyo wrote on Facebook,
