IK Ogbonna replies troll who mocked his best friend, Alex Ekubo
IK Ogbonna, who happens to be best friends with Alex Ekubo, was quick to reply to a troll who mocked Alex over his broken engagement with Fancy Acholonu.
Recall that Alex was engaged to be married to Fancy Acholonu. The now-estranged couple got engaged in May and had concluded plans to get married in November this year. However, the engagement was called off and Fancy confirmed it in an Instagram post.
Last weekend, Alex was in Cotonou where he bagged a doctorate degree from an institution. IK shared as photo of Alex, congratulating him on the doctorate degree.
Reacting to Ogbonna’s post, a troll decided to leave an unflattering comment on the post and IK wasted no time in giving him a taste of his own medicine.
The troll wrote, “If them no give you marriage cert…at least you collect doc.cert” and in response, IK fired back, “@charmlygold and you are yet to get a working brain”.
This won’t be the first troll coming after Alex over his broken engagement, likewise likening it to his honorary degree.
His colleague, Uche Maduagwu earlier came as him, opining that Alex couldn’t progress from engagement to marriage so he has no right to rejoice over his honorary university degree.
Uche wrote, “Someone wey no fit continue from engagement to wedding no suppose dey rejoice over honorary university degree. Charity of wisdom begin at home oga”.
Alex has not given any statement or confirmation of his broken engagement but he was earlier captured on cam, lost in thought while on a luxury ride with his friend and colleague, IK Ogbonna.
