IPOB Warns South-East lawmakers on Kanu’s Safety

The Indigenous People of Biafra, or IPOB, have cautioned South-East lawmakers to abandon the concept of visiting the region without their leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, due to the persistent insecurity in the nation particularly the recent attacks in Abuja.

After terrorists repeatedly attacked Abuja residents last week, the city’s citizens are paralysed with fear, and many are reportedly gone.

In light of this, IPOB cautioned South-East MPs in a statement released by its spokesperson, Emma Powerful, to never return without its leader.

Read the complete statement below:

“As terrorists and insecurity gradually threaten Nigeria’s seat of power, Abuja, we, the global movement and noble family of the Indigenous people of Biafra (IPOB) led by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, wish to remind the so-called Elders and politicians of Igbo extraction of Biafra in Abuja never to return home to Biafraland without Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

“We express our delight over fulfilling most if not all the prophecies of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

“It is crystal clear that these terrorists and after taking over the seat of power will come down to the Western and Eastern Nigeria. The entire South are not saved anymore, and there is an urgent need for the whole South to restrategise and get the already infiltrated terrorists out of our territories without delay.

“As there is fire on the mountain and Abuja is being encycled by terrorists, we advise Biafra politicians in Abuja never think of returning to South East Region without coming back with Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

“They must do all they could to ensure that Mazi Nnamdi KANU is back in the East with them because Abuja is no safer again.

“The land of Biafra and our ancestors will not spare them if they return to the East without Mazi Nnamdi Kanu being released unconditionally from the DSS custody.
