Ireti Doyle and Bob Manuel bag honorary doctorate in Benin Republic

Nollywood actors, Ireti Doyle and Bob Manuel Udokwu have both clinched honorary degrees from the Institut Supérieur de Communication et de Geston (ISCG University) in Benin Republic.

The thespian took to her Instagram page hours ago to announce her new achievement alongside that of her senior colleague, Bob Manuel Udokwu.

Expressing her joy, Ireti revealed that she  has envisaged many things for herself but she didn’t see this coming.

“I  have envisaged many things for myself….and having put, and still putting in the work, I have a healthy expectation of receiving “accolades”. But at no point did I see THIS coming….. Mommy would have been mighty proud!? Dr Doyle had a nice ring to it!!@iscg_university__ I am highly honored….thank you!”, she shared.

Sharing a photo of herself and Bob holding their certificates at the event, Ireti wrote,

“Congratulations also to my senior colleague Dr.@bobmanueludokwuofficial. Incidentally, he mentioned that “Living In Bondage”, the movie that redefined and birthed the Nollywood we now have; was 30 years old to the day…We’ve come a mighty long way.”
