Irina Shayk Friend zones Kanye West, says she doesn’t want a relationship with him

Kanye West and Irina Shayk were reportedly seeing each other for a while now. Although they described it to be casual, the pair were snapped getting off a private jet in New Jersey, appearing to be returning from a trip to France, where they stayed at the luxe Villa LA Coste.

Shayk is the first woman West has been linked to since his split from Kim Kardashian. The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star filed for divorce from the rapper earlier this year. But it looks like Shayk and West’s romance seems to be fizzling out, due to Shayk’s lack of interest. 

According to Pagesix, Shayk declined an invitation from West to attend a Paris couture show with him because she didn’t want dating reports to persist in the media.

“She likes him as a friend, but doesn’t want a relationship with him. She doesn’t want the association that they are dating, which is what would have run in the press if she showed up [in Paris with him]. It would have been another month of news saying that they are dating”, a source told Pagesix

The insider also said that Shayk is happy being alone at the moment. “She doesn’t want to be linked with anyone right now. She is happy being single”, says the source.

Shayk who has a 4-year-old daughter with Bradley Cooper has been friends with West for years. She previously modeled for West’s hot brand, Yeezy, and appeared in his 2010 music video for the tune “Power.” She is also name-dropped in his song “Christian Dior Flow” — with the lyric, “I wanna see Irina Shayk next to [Dutch model] Doutzen [Kroes].”
