“It’s impossible for me to go broke again”- Timaya
Timaya has caused an uproar on social media after he bragged that going broke again is likely an impossibility in his life.
In an Instagram post, Timaya wrote, “Somethings ain’t possible again. Like getting broke. Never”.
His post triggered reactions of Netizens who told him to be mindful of his statements because pride goes before a fall.
A certain fan, @Everythingskitchen commented, “Be careful Mr. Ask Rick Ross about the man who once owned the mansion he bought and now lives in. Just be grateful to God”.
@Jadeeaudu wrote, “God willing. Am going to say these words to my self”.

In a related post, the once ‘plantain boy’ disclosed that he lives a boring life because he’s just focused on making money.
“I’m boring, all I do is make money and go home”, he stated.
Timaya who is rated as one of the richest Nigerian singers once disclosed that he was once a plantain seller and he suffered a great deal.
Speaking during a performance at the Coca-Cola Urban Music Festival held at the Eko Energy City, Victoria Island, Lagos, on Saturday, Timaya said,
“I used to sell plantain but now I am rich. I suffered so much as a boy but I am now a rich man. Thanks to God. If you’re here and you think you are suffering, do not give up. Keep pushing because you will surely succeed.”
