Iyabo Ojo Tenders a Public Apology to TAMPAN on Behalf Of Herself And Others

Actress Iyabo Ojo decided to set her pride aside and publicly apologize to the executives of the Theatre
Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN) with regards to the ongoing
social media drama, which led to her suspension.

Iyabo Ojo was a major actor in the Baba Ijesha tussle. The association said that Ojo, Blessing and
Kehinde’s actions brought the association and the industry to disrepute. This led to TAMPAN blacklisting
Iyabo Ojo and Nkechi Blessing. They also banned directors under its guild to desist from engaging their
services as actresses.

Iyabo Ojo, in an Instagram post, started out by giving thanks to God who has been with her and her
family since the drama ensued on social media. And in a different post, she thanked fans and others
alike who have been showing her support since she joined Princess in the battle for justice.
“I will also want to use this opportunity to say a very BIG thank you to all my darling fans and loved ones
for your constant love & support … honestly I’m so overwhelmed & humbled, I will never take it for
granted”, Iyabo wrote.

Going further, Iyabo proceeded to thank the TAMPAN president, Bolaji Amusan aka Mr Latin, for his role
in ensuring that peace is restored. She on behalf of herself and Nkechi Blessing, apologised to her
superiors, saying that they will forever respect and honour them.

She wrote, “Our big daddies @adebayo.salami @princejidekosoko @realyinkaquadri on behalf of
@nkechiblessingsunday my darling aburo & my humble self, we apologise to you sirs we’re sorry for
getting you upset, you’re our elders & leaders, we respect you, we’re humbled before you, we will
forever appreciate you & honour you.”

In the video accompanying Ojo’s post, the TAMPAN president assured her that all hands are on deck to
make sure that the matter is quickly resolved. He however assured that Iyabo and Nkechi’s suspension
will be lifted.

On the other hand, Jide Kosoko said that his words against Nkechi Blessing weren’t a threat, but a mere
reaction to the heat of the moment. Nonetheless, Latin went on to apologize to Nkechi Blessing on
behalf of Jide Kosoko.

Iyabo Ojo was recently nominated in two categories of Best Actress 2020/2021’ and ‘Worlds’ Most
Relentless Influential Act 2020/2021′, for the Yoruba Music and Films Awards (YOMAFA), amidst her
