Cote d’ivoire famous football player Didier Drogba has announced that he has separated with his wife lalla diakate.

The former Chelsea football star met his wife Lalla in Paris back in the 90s, and they tied the knot in 2011.

The couple has been very quick about their relationship since marriage. This is the first time they will be coming into the limelight.

The football star was said to announce separating from his wife after an intimate video of him in bed with an unidentified woman.

Drogba was said to have been forced to speak up after his video, and the lady got leaked. He finally issued a statement about the viral video and confirmed his 20 years marriage with his wife Lalla has ended.

Confirming the split, he wrote:

 “I’m not in the habit of discussing my private life.

“But, because of speculation in the media today, I can confirm that sadly, after 20 years together, Lalla and I took the difficult decision to separate last year.

“We remain very close, and our main priorities have been to protect our children and our family’s private life.
