Late Gospel Singer Osinachi has been Laid to Rest

The remains of late gospel singer, Osinachi Nwachukwu has been laid to rest in her hometown of Amakpoke Umuaku community, Abia.

Prior to the final internment on Saturday, a night of worship was held in Abuja on Thursday, June 23.

A Night of Prayer was also held in Isochi, Umunneochi Local Government Area of in Abia state yesterday, June 24.

However, her husband Peter Nwachukwu will not be present for her wife’s burial following accusations that she suffered domestic violence in his hands.

Peter Nwachukwu is currently facing trial over the domestic violence charges.

Initially, it was reported that the Osinachi died of throat cancer, but shortly after the news of her death went viral, her family and friends lamented that her marriage to Peter Nwachukwu was regrettable.

Meanwhile, travellers reportedly commuting for the burial of the late gospel singer, Osinachi Nwachukwu have narrowly escaped being kidnapped.

According to reports, their journey was cut short when gunmen took over Umuaku road, Abia State in broad daylight.
