Laycon Beats Omah Lay, Wins Next Rated In The Music Industry.
Big brother Naija reality tv show has ended, but the housemates are still trending ever after months of the reality show coming to an end. And one such housemate is Laycon, the season 5 winner of the reality tv show.
Since Laycons win at the Big Brother Naija show, it has been one competition and comparison from one housemate to another either former housemates or present. Especially the comparison between laycon and 2017 Big Brother Naija winner Efe, as his music career went down the line upon leaving the big brother’s house.
Not just Efe, but also Erica, since they both went their separate way on a wrong foot, after their misunderstanding in the big brother’s house, that led to Erica’s disqualification from the big brother’s house.
Well, while laycon is being compared with Efe, he was also being compared along with side other top musicians in the industry.
Not just that, his ep just hits 1million streams on Boomplay, which has been making lots of waves on social media, and the icons cant just be less proud of it.
Still, in the mood of comparison, Laycon has been placed in second place amongst other top musicians, and most importantly, he is set to be nominated in loads of categories such as artist of the year, next rated, best video, rookie of the year, Album of the year.
Especially the next rated artist as he has been placed side by side with Omah lay who was also nominated in the same category as many are rooting for him, while laycon has just the icons to root for him.
Well looks like Omah Lay’s fans are not having it as both fans are dragging each other on Twitter, some saying Laycon doesn’t deserve the award others saying he does.
