“Let me be your slave and rise again” Davido’s Ex-signee, Yonda pleads; Davido reacts

Nigerian singer and DMW Ex-signee, Adeniran Adetunji, popularly known as Yonda has taken to his Instagram page to publicly apologize to his former boss, Davido, two years after he left his record label.

Yonda, who was previously signed to Davido Music Worldwide a.k.a DMW, had in an interview in January 2021 claimed he was “violated” by the label.

He further announced that he was leaving the record label because things were not working for him there.

In a new development, Yonda made a U-turn asking Davido to forgive him and take him back because he knows that he messed up big time.

He went on to post a private chat between himself and Davido where the former was seen begging the latter to be taken back. According to Yonda, his career is dead, and he wants Davido to help him revive it. H

In the chat, Yonda asked the DMW boss to temper justice with mercy and not leave him hanging because he has been blacklisted from the industry.

He wrote;

“Baddest don’t leave me hanging pls. Let me rise again. You know you can do it. I have been black listed in the game baddest. Take me back Like the prodigal son. Rear gem. I miss you, i don’t know where i got it wrong with you again my king. maybe you sit my ass down n make me come correct with you this time. d only thing still relevant about is (yondadmw), fuck up no dey sour baba. Pls treat my fuck up n let me be your lsave again, im not hungry my boss but my career is dead. Don’t forsake me David”.

He captioned the post,

“IF I Could turn the hands of time ,

If wishes were horses ,

Beggars would ride ,

wish I could make you forget the ungrateful me, irrational me , e.t.c just to start all over again with you my KING @davido

Temper mercy on me my #lord”.

Interestingly, Davido replied the singer in the said chat, stating that he misses him too but he (Yonda) hurt him.

“I miss you too, you hurt me”, Davido responded.
