Ligue 1: Dominant PSG ease past 10-man Montpellier

French champions, Paris St-Germain saw off 10-man Montpellier with 4 goals at the Parc de Prince to move three points clear at the top of Ligue 1.

The game started off badly for the visitors as they got reduced to 10-men in the 16th minute after their goalkeeper, Jonas Omlin saw a yellow card change to a red following a VAR review for a foul on Kylian Mbappe.

About eighteen minutes later,

Mbappe built on an Angel Di Maria pass to put the host in front.

After the break, Montpellier’s miseries all but compounded as did good with tenor dominance by taking adding three more goals to the tally.

Neymar got his name on the score sheet in the 60th minute to mark his 100th appearance for the French side.

Two minutes later, Mauro Icardi made it three, then Mbappe bagged a brace the next minute to all but seal things for

The result leaves Mauricio Pochettino’s side three points above second-placed Lille, having played a game more.
