Maccabi stun Juventus with 2-0 victory

Juventus woes continue as they suffered a shocking 2-0 defeat to Maccabi Haifa in the Champions League, to slim down their chances of qualifying for the next round.

Massimiliano Allegri’s men had defeated the Israeli side 3-1 at home last week, their first win the Group H, so far.

They however failed to reciprocate the same result, as Omer Atzili’s first half double was enough to earn Haifa their first UCL win since 2002 and leave Juve third in the group, having secured only three points from four matches, with two games left.

The two time champions league winners, who are having an all round difficult season, will have to win their next two games against Benfica and PSG to stand a chance of making it to the round of 16, or face a possible demotion to the Europa League.
