Man City celebrates title with win over Chelsea
A day after being confirmed as English Premier League champions for the third time in a row, Manchester City secured a 1-0 win over Chelsea as they lifted and celebrated the title in front of their jubilant fans at the Etihad Stadium.
Pep, having absolutely nothing to lose, fielded his second eleven against Chelsea, leaving the likes of Erling Haaland and midfielder maestro, Kevin de Bruyne on the bench.
But, their absence was not in a way felt, as Julian Alvarez’s first-half goals were enough to give a dominant City side all three points.
City is aiming for a treble this season with the FA Cup final against rivals Manchester United still to come, as well as the champions league final against Inter Milan.
