Manchester City win EPL title with three games to spare
Manchester City have won a third consecutive English premier league title, doing so with three games to go.
Arsenal’s 1-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest, saw City clinch the title while helping Forest avert relegation.
Pep Guardiola has guided City to five titles in six campaigns and City is only the second team to win three EPL’s in a roll after Sir Alex Ferguson did so with Manchester United.
City will get to lift the trophy after they play Chelsea on Sunday and could go on to win the Treble should they defeat Man Utd and Inter Milan in the FA Cup and champions league final, respectively.
Arsenal on the hand, are left devasted as they gear up to end what has been one of their best season in a very long time, without a trophy, especially the EPL.
