Mercy Johnson debunks claims of Harrassing and Assaulting her daughter’s school teacher
Mercy Johnson has debunked as well as released proof that she didn’t harrass, assault or use thugs on her daughter’s teacher as claimed by Nancy Chidera.
It will be recalled that Mercy Johnson, in a post shared on her Instagram page, said her 8-year-old daughter had been a constant victim of bullying by a teacher, who made her terrified to go to school.
On several occasions, Purity had reported to her mom about the bully, but the actress felt she was getting worried over nothing, not until she experienced it herself after the said teacher punished only her daughter in a disagreement with her classmate.
She wrote;
A teacher at my child’s school has been b*llying my daughter constantly for 2 weeks. She is not her class teacher, yet she shows up at her class everyday to intimidate her! uses biro to flick her hair. She tells her to her face that she does not like her mother, tells her that celebrity kids are badly behaved and she should not bring her aura, she should stop feeling proud, she should not bring her online drama to school.
Since I was around, I took the opportunity to meet this teacher politely and I could see she has been waiting to tell me how much she hates me… she tells me to my face that she does not care and she will punish her anytime she likes.”
Reacting to this, a lady identified as Nancy Chidera gave her own account of the story, revealing that Mercy Johnson’s daughter twisted the hand of her fellow student and was called to apologise, and she told the teacher that she would never do it because she wasn’t taught to do so.
However, after much persuasion, Mercy Johnson’s daughter apologised, and the teacher dismissed the student, but her daughter changed the narrative of what happened, and Mercy insulted and humiliated the teacher.
Nancy alleged that after Mercy’s altercation with the school teacher, she still called her husband, who invited three bodyguards to beat up the teacher for supposedly disturbing his wife and child.
Mercy, on hearing these allegations released a video debunking Nancy’s false claims. In the video, Mercy went back to Purity’s school and questioned the school teachers about humiliating or bringing thugs to beat up any of their staff at the school, and they replied in the negative.
The mother of four, who broke down in tears, said she is pained over the allegations. She said that she doesn’t mind being bashed but she won’t let her kids be bullied because she is suffering for them.
Mercy Johnson added that she does not like drama and likes being on her lane even when people taunt her. Not stopping there, she lamented about being hated by people who peddle rumours about her.
