Mr. Ibu finally speaks on his daughter’s decision to marry a man she met on TikTok.

Nollywood Veteran and comic star, John Okafor is better known as Mr. Ibu has finally spoken about his daughter’s decision to marry a man she met on TikTok.

Recall that some days back, Mr. Ibu’s daughter, Jasmine shared a loved-up video with her abroad-based fiance while revealing that she met him on the video-sharing platform, TikTok.

It was explained in the short clip that the mystery man was her ‘TikTok gifter’ and they would be getting married this month, just two months after meeting on the social media platform because according to her, a real man doesn’t waste a lady’s time. 

Reacting to this in an interview with Sunday Scoop, Mr. Ibu disclosed that Jasmine is not his biological daughter but he trained her hence she calls him daddy and his daughter. 

On the issue of getting married to a man she met on TikTok, the veteran actor said he’s okay with it and gives them his blessings.

“She is not my biological daughter but I trained her. She calls me daddy and I call her daughter. I am okay with it (her getting married). I have been praying for them and I will keep on doing that”, Ibu said.

He continued, “Man and woman got to know each other one day. It is a gradual process. However, I don’t want to see tears”.
