“My father is still missing” – Actor Uche Odoputa cries out again, accuses IPOB

Nollywood actor, Uche Odoputa, has cried out again that his father is still missing and he hasn’t received words from his abductors, just days after he pleaded with the general public to help find his father.

It will be recalled that days ago, Uche Odoputa announced that his father, Mr Kenneth odoputa was kidnapped over two weeks ago and they have been making efforts to rescue him. He also called for prayers from well-meaning Nigerians to pray for the safe return of his father.

“Friends please join me in praying for my father safe return from the hands of kidnappers that took him for over 2weeks now 🙏 Mr Kenneth odoputa” He wrote as he shared a photo of his father”.

Hours ago, Uche Odoputa took to his Instagram handle to post a video pleading for help again, stating that his father is still missing and there is no word from him or his abductors.

Speaking exclusively with Precious Eze’s Blog, Uche Odoputa said that his father was kidnapped in his village in Orsu Local Government Area in Imo State, and that “this particular incident is actually a witch-hunt by the IPOB men who accused my father of dealing with the government, saying that they saw him drinking with some members of Nigerian Army in the market square and when we made a case that it wasn’t true, they said they would keep him till the outcome of their incantations”.

Reacting to these allegations, the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) through its spokesperson, Emma Powerful said that the group is willing to help rescue the actor’s abducted father.

According to Saharareporters, Emma Powerful sent a text to their media outlet asking that Uche contact the group and give details of the location of the kidnap incidents, the date, and other necessary details to help fast track the rescue mission.
