“Naira turn yourself in and explain later”- Tonto Dikeh responds to Naira Marley’s press release

Nollywood Actress cum politician, Tonto Dikeh is definitely not buying Naira Marley’s press statement that he has no hand in the demise of his former signee, Mohbad.

It is no longer news that the death of Mohbad has created buzzing controversies, especially around the Marlian Music Record label.

Naira Marley, however, became the prime suspect in Mohbad’s untimely death because of the several voice notes and videos of harassment and bullying Mohbad suffered at the hands of his label boss, Naira Marley while was alive.

In response to these claims and allegations, Naira Marley released a press statement declaring his innocence.

Naira Marley in the press release, accepted that he had a series of issues with Mohbad but it did not escalate to the extent of wishing him dead. He stated emphatically that he knows nothing about the death of Mohbad as alleged.

He also addressed the rumours circulating about his record label, Marlian Music, being associated with a drug cartel or secret fraternity. Naira Marley dismissed these claims, stating that he is not a drug lord and has no affiliation with any cult or secret society.

Naira Marley also expressed his dedication to proving his innocence and stated his willingness to cooperate fully with the authorities to clear his name.

In response to his statement, Tonto Dikeh replied with a very straightforward message;

“Naira, turn yourself in and explain later.” 

Her statement resonated with many who believe that accountability is crucial in situations as sensitive as this.

Also, Mohbad’s close friend, Bella Shmurda had this to say in response to Naira Marley’s press statement;

“Sha lo report ara re,” he wrote. 

Meaning “Sha go and report yourself”.

Meanwhile, Naira Marley’s press statement triggered the following reactions amongst Netizens who accused him of gaslighting the public;
