Spain ended Italy’s world-record 37-game unbeaten run with a 2-1 victory over the Azzurri’s in San Siro, to scale through to the final of the Nations League final.
The scintillating encounter was a replay of the Euro 2020 semi-final which saw Spain lose on penalties to Italy, the eventual winners of the competition, and the Spaniards came all out for “revenge”.
