New season, new manager, same old Manchester United

Things are not looking good for Manchester United as they failed to bounce back from their opening day defeat to Brighton, but rather went on to suffer an even more humiliating 4-0 defeat away at Brentford.

After enduring a truly frustrating season last time, everyone thought things will start looking up for the Red Devils with the coming of a new manager, but sadly that hasn’t quite been the case.
Ten Hag’s men were condemned to a 4-0 deficit by a brilliant Brentford side in the first half.

After the break, United were unable to find their footing as they succumbed to a historic defeat,  their seventh in a row on the road, in what had now become their worst run since 1936.

The road might get even tougher for United as their next challenge is up against Liverpool, who are in a lot more better shape than the hard beaten United.
