Nigerians Slam Burna Boy For Copying Osupa’s Cd Cover In His Way Too Big Video.
African giant Burna boy just released the music video for his song way too big. Before the video release, Burna announced his Way too big video would be dropping on Wednesday, December 16, at 8 pm.
“8pm WAT tonight …… I’ll be in the @YouTube chat box counting down #WAYTOOBIG.”
Upon releasing his video, Burna revealed that the video’s press conference scene is his team in the industry.
“Had my actual team in that press conference scene! Namix took it a bit too seriously #WAYTOOBIG.”
The video, which trended at number 2 on youtube, is yet to hit a million views over 16 hours it was released.
While most Nigerians acknowledge the video’s creativity, some persons are blasting Burna boy for a creative copy of Osupa’s Cd cover in his video.
The post reads, “Displaying Osupa’s cd in @burnaboy WayWay too Big video means alot to me. But I would like to understand it from @burnaboy perspective. Can you please tell me why it is there Burna?”
Meanwhile, most people feel Burna boy sets a standard for others to copy. They accused davido of copying Burna’s monsters you made concept, saying he copied it to make his Jowo video.
Mind you, Davido’s fem video hit 1 million views in the space of one hour upon its release.
Burna boy’s Way too big is yet to hit a million views even after 16 hours of release. Burna’s fans are super hyped about his WayWay too big video as they share their thoughts about it on Twitter.
