OAP Nedu reportedly Connives with the police to forcefully take his children from his Ex-wife

OAP Nedu’s paternity drama has gotten messier as it’s been reported that the media personality in conjunction with the police, forcefully took his children away from his ex-wife, Uzoamaka Ohiri.

According to blogger, LIB, Ohiri was invited by the police and told to come along with two of her three children and the two children were reportedly handed over to their father, without prior notice to their mother.

A relative who spoke to the publication questioned why the police will be interfering in a civil matter. He said;

“Can you imagine the Police are interfering in a civil matter because Nedu is influential? This is nothing but oppression. Why should children be brought to SCID? Now, they have been handed over to Nedu. This is sad.”

Reacting to the latest development, actor Rotimi Salami is of the opinion that it isn’t important for a father to carry out a paternity test to check if his children are biologically his. He stated that the only time a DNA test is important is if there’s another person dragging the child and claiming to be the child’s father.

Salami also said a father is someone who raised a child, not the person who gave the sperm.“Save yourself the heart attack and protect your child’s emotions too” he added.

In his words, “I honestly think DNA test is not important unless someone is dragging ur Child with you. If you have a child you’re raising u don’t need to go finding out the paternity, every child is ur child.

A father is someone who raised a child, not necessarily the sperm giver. Save urself the heart attack n protect that child’s emotions too”.

This is coming after OAP Nedu’s Ex-wife, Uzoamaka Ohiri tackled him on social media and accusing him of domestic violence. This forced him to reveal the true paternity of their supposed first child.

In Nedu’s defence, he wrote;

“My attention has been drawn to stories making the rounds on social media by my ex-wife (Uzoamaka Ohiri). While I am not one to trade issues on social media, it has become pertinent that I clear the air once and for all.

First of all, I would like to state clearly that I do not support or encourage any form of domestic violence whether targeted at a woman or man. I have also never been one to physically violate anybody, including my ex-wife.

Our marriage was one plagued with a lot of issues. One of which was continuous infidelity from her side that led to me conducting a paternity test on our kids which led to the revelation that our first son is not my biological son even though he was born within the period during which we were married”.
