Olamide Dragged For Refusing To Beg Wizkid For A Global Push

Celebrity fan bases on Twitter always have a way of making hasty assumptions and conclusions just to make sure their faves remain at the top.

Olamide became one of the celebrities to come under the wrath of Wizkid FC after a lady identified as Vivian opined that Olamdie would have gone further in his career if he had worked more with Wizkid.

She was of the opinion that Olamide’s major setback is his pride and if only he will let down his pride, he will “trend globally” like Wizkid.

In her words;

“Olamide needs to work more with Wizkid… That guy needs a Lil push globally.

Gone are the days for street music, na good music we dey listen to now. The aim is to trend globally now, but pride no go let am asked Wizkid Shaa”.

Notably, Wizkid’s contributions to the Nigerian music industry have made him the most awarded artiste in The Headies award history and the most awarded African artist at the BET Awards, Soul Train Awards, Billboard Awards, iHeartRadio Music Awards and MOBO Awards. He is also a recipient of an ASCAP plaque for Drake’s “One Dance”, including a Grammy Awards thanks to his featured work in Beyoncé’s The Lion King: The Gift soundtrack with “Brown Skin Girl”.
