Olamide Drops Tracklist for Upcoming Album,’UY Scuti Wave’

Olamide has dropped a tracklist of his long-awaited forthcoming album, ‘UY Scuti Wave’. The album has been scheduled for release on the 18th of June.

The name of his forthcoming album alone shows the level of the thought process behind the frame of the studio album. UY Scuti is by far, the largest star to be discovered and Olamide has referred to himself as UY Scuti of the Nigerian Music Industry.

Olamide shared the tracklist via his Instagram stories, revealing that if he didn’t drop the tracklist, he may not stop recording.

“Tracklist out cause if I don’t, I won’t stop recording”, he shared.

Looking at the tracklist, the new album, UY Scuti wave, will include features from Phyno, Fave, Jaywillz, and Layydoe.

Since Olamide’s debut album in 2011, he has been dropping a personal album every year except in the year 2019, which led to him releasing two projects in 2020 – the ‘999‘ EP, and the reigning ‘Carpe Diem’. ‘UY Scuti Wave’ will be Olamide’s ninth studio album and eleventh overall project, making him the most consistent Nigerian artist of the last decade.
