Oxlade Tenders a Public Apology for his Explicit Tape

Nigerian singer, Ikuforiji Olaitan, popularly known as Oxlade has tendered a public Apology after his sex tape surfaced on the internet.

In the early hours of Wednesday, Empire Africa reported how Oxlade caused a stir on social media when a video of him having sex with a lady surfaced online.

It was gathered that the musician allegedly created a Snapchat streak and gave it to a buddy to illustrate how he smashed the unidentified lady, and his friend recorded the streak on his phone and later published it online without his consent.

However, realizing the effects of this scandal, the 24-year-old singer via his social media handles, tendered his most sincere apologies to his fans and the public at large, stating that he was betrayed by a trusted friend and that willfully publishing his sex tape is not in his character.

His apology reads;

“I am conscious that my business is out in the public and I am not the type of person to put my business out there.

Betrayals are very real and in this same token I want to apologize to the woman in the video, who did not deserve this type of exposure and lastly apologies to my fans and well-wishers”.

Following Oxlade’s apology, some Netizens have vowed to keep dragging the singer, alleging that his apology is insincere, scripted and he should be held accountable for leaking the sex tape.

@GetterRuth tweeted, “what kind of constructed lie is this..u were fully aware it was going to be placed out and I can bet u did it urself… but see what it gave you fame.. why not own up to what you did. U put it out no need covering it. U had ur reasons. U wanted to be talked about period.”

@_ ololadee_e wrote, “Your business is out in the public??! You are not serious yet! Come back with a better apology.”

@ChuGailx tweeted, “she should still sue you. Your apologies won’t do anything. How do it get out of your phone in the first place? Who did you send it to that betrayed you? Both of you should pay for doing that to her. I hope she does not let this thing go for anything. You would move on. She won’t.”

@It_Chioma tweeted, “your fans are nor angry with you.. They are going yo truck your style out. What’s the purpose of recording if you didn’t want it out in the public. Next time try recording with ring light.”

@emehinolataiwo added, “Oxlade you bad.. Truth be told, with everything you said we the Oxladians we forgive you buh we no forget cos I don’t know why you stop.. how could you have stopped.. Abeg if na premium package remain abeg gimme the link. Make I see person wey go just oxlaid me on Monday”.
