Pere Bags First Endorsement Deal with Beauty Brand

Former Shine ya Eye housemate, Pere Egbi has bagged his first endorsement deal with a skincare brand, VSP Botanics.

General Pere, as he is fondly called by his fans, got signed on as an ambassador for VSP Botanics, a skincare brand.

On his Instagram page, the actor shared a video of himself, and Sharon Ooja, who is also an ambassador for the brand, showing off one of the VSP Botanics products.

Sharing the video, Pere captioned it;

“I am so elated to officially announce that I have joined the @vsp_botanics family as a brand ambassador! VSP offers a wide variety of products that cater to different skin types.

No matter you skin variation or color, we got you covered. Thank you @sharonooja for that warm welcome.”

Adding to his feat, Pere recently replaced Ayo Ayoola in the popular Nigerian series, “The Men’s club” as Aminu.

The scriptwriter Dami Elebe took to her Twitter page to explain why Pere was fixed in the character of Ayoola to play the part “Aminu”. She said Ayoola did not inform the production crew that he was relocating to the States, hence his replacement.

However, contrary to what Elebe said, Ayoola released a statement which reads;

“Hi everyone. Thank you for all the love and support. I appreciate you! I remain grateful to have been part of such an amazing show and I did not take any action to jeopardize its success.

Contrary to what was said, I did not relocate without letting the executive producers and producers of the show know. My decision to make a ‘temporary’ move out of the country was a long thought out process in which the producer/my manager at the time was aware of and involved.

With that being said, I cannot wait to be back on your screens again.”
