Popular director, Sesan Ogunro tied the knot in a Private wedding in Greece
One of the most influential music video directors in and out of Africa, Sesan Ogunro tied the knot with his fiancée in a private ceremony in Santorini, Greece.
His sister and Media Personality Fade Ogunro, made the announcement on her Instastory with photos from the event, with the caption “#MrandMrsOgunro”.
In an interview with The Nation, Ogunro earlier revealed he wants to get married in a private event, despite having twin babies (a boy and a girl), from another woman.
“If you look at my Instagram, I have kids, I have twins, two kids a boy and a girl so they think oh! because he has kids he must be married, ha! that’s the Nigerian society we live in now.
“I wanna get married. It’s just, when I do it I’m not going to make a big situation out of it just, it’s private. I am not trying to be famous but the thing is I make people famous, I am a very private person. My business is my business”, he said.
For over a decade the award-winning director has made a mark by bagging several international awards from MTV base, to Channel O Music Awards. His work on Dbanj’s Oliver Twist landed the music video one of the most viewed Afrobeat Video’s in history.
