Manchester United started life under new manager, Ralf Rangnick with side performed “better than expected” as he began his reign as interim manager with a narrow victory over Crystal Palace.
Though United was the better side after a goalless first half, which stressed most part of the second half, the game looked set to end as a goalless draw, until Brazilian midfielder, Fred gave the hosts the lead with a stunning strike in the 77th minute.
Manchester United held on for all three points and their first clean sheet at home this season.
