Sarkodie Bags Publishing Deal With Sony Music
Top Ghanaian rapper, Michael Owusu Addo, popularly known as Sarkodie, has bagged a publishing deal with Sony Music UK.
Sarkodie on his Instagram announced his latest achievement. The rapper, via pictures, made it known that he had joined the Sony Family.
This deal comes a few days after dropping his highly anticipated album ‘No Pressure’, his 6th studio album since his first in 2009. ‘No Pressure’ is a 15-track hip-hop album that features both local and international artistes. The project features Mensa (United States), Giggs (United Kingdom), Wale (United States/ Nigeria), Cassper Nyovest (South Africa), Oxlade (Nigeria), Harmonize (Tanzania), Kwesi Arthur (Ghana), Darko Vibes (Ghana), MOG Music (Ghana), Medikal (Ghana), and Benerl (Ghana).
The prolific rapper, who is a two-time BET award winner, joins the likes of Davido, Zayn Malik, R Kelly, Alicia Keys, DJ Khaled, Beyonce, ASAP Rocky, Shakira, etc. in the Sony Music Family.
