“Stop Trolling the Father of My Son”- Singer Jodie Begs Netizens Attacking Her Ex-Husband

Nigerian singer Jodie has appealed to social media users to stop attacking her ex-husband, David Nnaji, after she took to social media to appeal for funds to support and care for her special needs child.

Her solicitation for funds triggered several criticisms, with Netizens assuming that her ex-husband, who is also the father of the child left her to carry the responsibilities alone.

In response to the constant trolling, Jodie in a new post described her ex-husband as a good man and further added that people do not know what he’s going through. The Kuchi Kuchi singer also revealed that her ex-husband is also in pain. She said her ‘cry for help’ is for all Nigerians who have kids with ‘special needs’ and not just for her.

In her words,

“Please STOP trolling the FATHER of my beloved son.do you even know the pains he is going through? He is a good man even though we are not together in marriage.

My cry represents all the cries of the Nigerian Special Mothers…he did not marry all of us, biko!

Please be patient with me… I am recuperating…he’s facing his challenges too. Don’t lose sight of the GOAL, which is to ensure that Nigeria has world-class organisations where Special Mothers can keep their kids, so they can hustle. It’s a NATIONAL cry, not an emotional one.
