Suitors Line Up as Toke Makinwa Hints at Giving Marriage Another Shot
Nigerian media personality, TV host, and actress Toke Makinwa has once again set the internet ablaze this time, with her honest take on love, marriage, and companionship.
In a candid moment on a recent episode of her podcast Toke Moments, the outspoken celebrity revealed she’s open to giving marriage another shot even if it means being the second, third, fourth, or fifth wife.
“In all honesty, at this point in my life, if I have the opportunity to be the second, third, fourth, or fifth wife, I will take it,” she said.
Toke, who is known for her independence and boss-lady aura, explained that while she’s proud of the life she’s built, there are moments when even the strongest women desire someone to lean on.
“I am the boss everywhere, and that could be tiring. You feel like you need someone to lean on, someone who could decide what’s for dinner. Must it be me?” she added.
Shortly after the podcast aired and began circulating online, her inbox was flooded with messages from men, many offering marriage proposals right off the bat. Toke didn’t hesitate to share the moment with her fans, posting a screenshot of her email inbox. One particularly bold message read:
“GOAL: Can we get married? – proposes marriage, based in Ibadan, works as senior data analyst.”
