Superb Lone goal earns Leicester City first ever FA Cup

Nigerian Super Eagles duo of Kelechi Iheancho and Wilfred Ndidi were part of the Brendan Rodgers Leicester City side that won the FA cup for the first time in the club’s history, thanks to Youri Tielemans’ absolute belter against Chelsea on Saturday.

The keenly contested encounter played out in front of 21,000 supporters present at Wembley stadium, ended in a barren first half.

After the break, the game stayed goalless and undecided until Tielemans  fired home from 25yards in the 63rd minute.

With everybody on the edge and Chelsea looking to dangerous, Kasper Schmeichel, proved to be one of the Foxes’ heroes for the night, producing two fantastic saves to keep Ben Chilweel, Mason Mount at bay.

It almost looked settled for Leicester, until Chelsea found the back of the net, with few minutes to, but a drama set in, because, what’s a final without some drama.
Chelsea’s equalizer got ruled out by VAR, and try as Tuchel’s men may have, it’s there but rather,  the night for Leicester City to win a first final since 1969, sending the whole team into unbridled ecstasy.
