“They Recorded with their Phones instead of coming to my Rescue”- Burnaboy Speaks on his Auto crash
Grammy award winner, Burna Boy, was involved in an auto crash with his Ferrari 458 car in Lagos yesterday.
The singer was flung out of his vehicle on impact during the car crash.
Reports of the incident created tension in the media, forcing the self-acclaimed African giant to speak on his predicament.
Burnaboy affirmed that really he was involved in an auto crash and he is fine, but his leg just hurts a little bit.
He appreciated everyone for their concerns but noted that he was marveled at how everyone came out with their phones to record him instead of trying to help. Although he assumed that they were just excited to see him, regardless of the situation.
In affirmation, Burna said “Yes it’s true. I had a bad accident in my Ferrari today. My leg just hurts a little but I’m fine. It’s just funny how everyone came out with phones recording me instead of trying to help (I guess they were too excited to see me regardless of the situation Lol) but I love you all. Gambo got me”.
Reacting to his post, Netizens bashed him for trying to portray the victim mentality. They noted that he was already covered by his convoy and if anyone had lent a helping hand, the person will be brutally assaulted.
“Burnaboy was moving with a convoy… They were already helping him.
Trust me if a stranger tried to touch him, the person will be assaulted and even he knows that (all this victim mentality no make sense)”, @Stoned mind tweeted.
Another, @Ugospicy wrote; “If we see you on a good day, bouncers no go allow us near una. Even my brother white money wey come to check up on you inside club, you embarrass am!”
Meanwhile, Burna’s accident comes hours after the singer took to his Instagram story to express how much he missed his brother who passed on.
“Not a day goes on by without me missing you brother. I would trade it all for just one conversation with you,” he wrote.
