Toke Makinwa Advices Women On How To Be Independent While In Their Husbands House.
Nigerian actress and on-air personality toke Makinwa took to her Twitter page to explain why women need to make their own money while praying for a man.
Toke started with a tweet asking her followers if they know her husband, they should tell him congratulations ahead for her, saying her kids are fortunate because God took time to mold her. She wrote:
“The plans God shared with me about my life…. if you know my husband, tell him Congratulations ahead, he is so lucky and blessed that God saved the best for him, My kids too are extremely lucky because God took the time to mold me, break me, fix me and make me whole again.”
Early hours of yesterday, December 28, she advised ladies praying for a man to have their own money to avoid insults.
“Ladies..most especially young ladies pls as you are praying for a man that has his shit together, whatever that means to you. (Money,security,etc), pls pray for your pocket, too, get your own shit in order too. No one wants a liability. It gets some kind of insult you want to avoid.”
Toke, who was once married, explained how women should not be dependent on their husband at all time, but should also do and buy stuff, even properties for themselves. She also stated that those who married rich men are not having it easy with their husbands, but they say what they are going through.
