UCL: Juventus suffers round of 16 first-leg defeat.

Porto secured their first-ever competitive victory against Juventus in European competition on Wednesday with a 2-1 victory in the first leg of the champions league tie, having failed to win any of their first five encounters with them.

The host took a very early lead courtesy of Mehdi Taremi’s 63 seconds first-ever champions league goal.

Just after the break, Moussa Marega stroke home to enhance Porto’s numerical advantage.

Juventus were out playing and looked like they were on the verge of suffering a two-nil deficit before Federico Chiesa pulled a goal back in 82 minutes to hand June an away goal chance, no matter how slim, heading into the return leg of the last-16 tie on 9 March.
