UCL: Manchester United left it late with a comeback victory against Atalanta
Manchester United, off a disappointing defeat to Leicester City in the premier league last week, came back from two goals down to record a much-needed Champions League triumph against Atalanta at Old Trafford.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men headed into the break trailing behind at home no thanks to goals from Mario Pasalic and Merih Demiral, attracting boos from their fans.
However, after the break, the Red Devils found their foot, and worked their way back into the hearts of the home supporters, as goals from Marcus Rashford, Harry Maguire, and a trademark header from Cristiano Ronaldo, nine minutes to stoppage time, turned the tides around.
The victory moved United to the top of Group F with 6 points, two ahead of second-placed Atalanta.
