UCL: Messi, Mbappe on the score sheet as PSG ease past Club Bruges

Paris St-Germain rounded off their champions league group stage run with a comfortable 4-1 win over Club Bruges.

Two early quick-fire goals from Kylian Mbappe, who has now become the youngest player to reach 30 Champions League goals, gave the Parisians the lead.

Lionel Messi tripled things in the 38th minute heading into the break.

After the break, Mats Rits grabbed what would end up simply as a consolation goal for the visitors in the 68th, before Messi increased the deficit from the spot, moments later.

The result means PSG finished second in Group A with 11 points, one behind Group leaders, Manchester City who lost their last group stage game to third-placed RB Leipzig, while Club Bruges finished bottom of the group with just 4 points from six games.
