“Wande Coal let me sleep in his room when I had nowhere to go”- Wizkid
Starboy Big Wiz has recounted how his colleague Wande Coal came through for him during his dark moments.
Ayo Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid walked down memory lane during his recent performance at the Flytime Music Festival in Lagos.
That’s the man that inspired me. You all should make some noise for Wande Coal, “ Wizkid said.
After the fans cheered Wande Coal, Wizkid said,
“I remember when I was making my first single — Holla at Your Boy, Tease Me, Don’t Dull, Wande Coal was also there for me, made me sleep in his room when I had nowhere to go. I just want to say a big thank you to that guy. That’s a very special human being.”
As expected, the crowd gave off a big cheer for Wande Coal.
Wande Coal was among the artistes who performed alongside Wizkid at the Grammy winner’s headline show in Lagos. Coal joined Wizkid on the stage as the duo performed the former’s songs together.
