We Are Determined To Change The Narrative – Gov. Fintiri
Chairman and members of commissions and boards in Adamawa have been urged by Governor Ahmadu Fintiri to abstain from corrupt activities, as they have no place in his government.
Fintiri stated this on Thursday in Yola, When they were being sworn into office. He informed them that there would be no tolerance for corruption and that accountability and slot gacor hari ini openness were non-negotiable.
The governor warned that anyone found guilty would be shown the way out.
“You must fully understand our administration’s vision and goals.
“I urge you to thoroughly digest our eight-point agenda and be guided by it.
“We are determined to change the narrative of how things are done. We must embrace transparency, accountability and innovation to drive progress,” he said.
According to the Governor, great consideration went into choosing them, taking into account their character, aptitude, commitment, and lineage. He claimed that they had a huge task ahead of them that was obvious and would demand a lot of work.
“We are the eyes of the people, and they look up to us for solutions.
“Our administration is committed to addressing the economic challenges facing our people.
“ I charge you to come up with innovative contributions to help alleviate these challenges,” he said.
Speaking on behalf of the board chairmen, Mr. Musa Kaibo, Chairman of the Civil Service Commission, expressed gratitude to the governor for deeming them deserving of this position. He gave him his word that they would make every effort to support the growth of the state.
The chairs and members of the Planning Commission, Health Services Management Board, Fiscal Responsibility Commission, Local Government Pension Board, and Universal Basic Education were among those inaugurated.
