Nollywood veteran actor Ernest Asuzu is dead. The actor, who has been sick for years, was said to have fainted and never woke up.

Before his death, Ernest was affected with stroke in 2015, which affected his speech. He was also bedridden for three years.

It was gathered that the actor died on Tuesday evening, January 26. He was said to have fainted and never woke up.

His death was confirmed by the president of the actors guild of Nigeria, Emeka Rollas. Emaka announcing his death, said, “yes, Ernest Asuzu is dead. I am trying to reach his wife to get the full details. I will get back to you.”

Ernest’s body is being conveyed to his hometown for immediate burial.
