Why Most Nigerian Celebrities Didn’t Show Up For The #ENDSARS Protest.

Nigerians can no longer take it anymore, seeing SARS and the POLICE harassing and ending the lives of innocent Nigerian youth, some of them even in their houses.

We reported early last week, that most Nigerians celebrities have decided to carry out a physical protest of #endsars in the various states of the country. You’ll also recall that few celebrities took to their social media platforms to campaign to the federal government to end SARS due to their constant brutality to the youths of the country.

Well, it seems like the social media protest was not good enough, as they all decided to come out in their numbers today October 8th, 2020, to carry out a physical peaceful protest, matching to the government house so various states in the country.

Lagos being the bedrock for entertainment in the country, top Nigerians celebrities did come out in their number sacrificing the whole of their today protesting.

Here are the names of a few celebrities that took part in the #endsars protest in Lagos state; Tiwa Savage, Falz, don2tun, Rudeboy, Tacha, Toke Makinwa, Runtown, Elozonzam, Jaywon, etc.

On the other hand, the likes of Wizkid, Naira Marey, Olaide, and David who loaded the #endsars protest more on social media, where nowhere to be found.

Though Davido despite his tweet, stating that he was ready for anything when and the rally started, was busy bagging a new endorsement deal and as such couldn’t make it, but a member of his group was in the crowd.

The peaceful protest was carried out successfully, but the police and SARS in some state opened fire, which ended the protest as earlier planned.
Meanwhile, most celebrities, claim they never knew about the protest and vowed to partake in the next one, come next week Tuesday October 12th 2020.
