“Will they listen to my side of the story?”- Judy Austin gets emotional about her marriage to Yul Edochie

Nollywood actress, Judy Austin has been in the news ever since her colleague, Yul Edochie publicly confirmed her to be his second wife and mother to his son, Star Dike Munachimso Yul-Edochie.

In no time, Nigerians trooped to her social media page to drag her to filth accepting to marry Yul, who is already married to May Edochie, with four kids.

In what seemed like an apparent reaction to the backlash, the actress took to Instagram to share a strong non-directed message.

Judy addressed critics trolling her on social media. She complained about feeling tired and misunderstood, and how people will be unwilling to listen if she decided to share her own part of the story.

“There is no smoke without fire, it takes two to tango. Most times in Nigeria, we don’t have the patience to hear the other part of the story”, She stated.

She shared the numerous messages she received from her fans and trolls and questioned if she should share her story or keep moving as most people advised.

“A lot of people were telling me you don’t have to, you don’t owe anybody an explanation, just move on with your life. While some other people were saying they want to hear my side of the story. Now, my question is if I tell my story, Will people listen to understand or Listen to respond and troll me?”

In response to this, Nollywood actress, Uche Ogbodo took to her Instagram page to declare her support for Yul Edochie’s first wife, May Edochie. She also clearly stated that she is not in support of a polygamous marriage.

She wrote;

“NO WOMAN DESERVES TO GO THROUGH WHAT MAY AND HER CHILDREN MIGHT BE GOING THROUGH RIGHT NOW. MAY IS AN AMAZING WOMAN, I LOVE AND RESPECT HER,” she wrote.

“SO, IN ACTUAL SENSE, I AM WITH MAY WITH ALL MY HEART …. and not what the Lots of you actually think because of my comment on Judy’s Posts. I was only Catching Cruise with my Haters! #istandwithmayedochie #periodt”

There has been a lot of controversy over my comments on Yul Edochie’s second wife post on the Day the news broke out!

I just want to say I Uche Ogbodo would never ever support polygamy, I don’t appreciate it, and would never indulge directly in it. That is because of all the pain it brings to all the parties involved”.
