Nigerian superstar singers, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun aka Wizkid and David ‘Davido’ Adeleke have finally put an end to their long standing rift.
Davido and Wizkid have been at loggerhead for a long time over undisclosed reasons, which extended to their individual fanbases who always find a way to compare the singers’ achievements.
They decided to put an end to the squabble after the duo were captured on tape giving each other a deep hug and exchanging pleasantries at a night club in Lagos state.
Davido seemed overtly emotional and passionate in the way he hugged Wizkid who responded in the same manner.
Reacting to their reconciliation, iamfreddylion01 wrote: “Davido hold am tight you need BIGWIZ lowkey!!!”

Wizkid and Davido had for years been in a heated battle of supremacy along the lines of chart list dominance, talents as well as calibres of international collaborations.
The climax of the beef was when team members of both artists reportedly clashed in Dubai at the One Africa Music Festival in November 2017.
The pair happened to have one of the longest rivalry in the Nigerian music industry which has been amplified by fans of both artistes. “The fans don’t make it easier,” Davido once admitted.
He added that Wizkid’s team Starboy and 30BG “were meant to sit down and have a general meeting and sort every problem possible” however, the meeting didn’t happen. I love Wizkid bruh. I know he loves me too,” Davido told Ebuka Obi-Uchendu in Black Box interview.
