World Cup: Brazil, Croatia set for quarter final showdown
Brazil put up a fascinating display against South Korea, seeing them off in a 4-1 victory to book a place in the quarter final, where they will take on Croatia on Friday.
The Samba boys were already four goals up before the break, thanks to Vinicius Jr’s seven minutes opener, Neymar’s (back from injury) 13 minute or penalty, Richarlison’s lovely 29th minute finish and Lucas Paqueta’s 36th minute volley.
After the break, Tire’s men were as forthcoming as before and South Korea eventually got a worthy consolation goal through
substitute, Paik Seung-ho, fantastic 30 yard belter.
Croatia had earlier qualifed for the last after defeating Japan on penalities.
