World Cup: England, USA through to last 16
England saw off Wales with a 3-0 victory to book a place in the World Cup last 16.
Two goals from Marcus Rashford and one from Phil Foden did the magic for the Three Lions, who will now take on Senegal in the last 16 fixture.
Meanwhile, Cristian Pulisic’s lone goal was enough to earn the USA a win over Iran and send them to the round of 16 of the tournament and set up a meeting against the Netherlands.
England finished top of Group B with seven points, while the US finished second with five points. Iran and Wales both finished third and fourth, and have been eliminated from the tournament.
