World Cup: France see off Morocco to set up final against Argentina

France edged past Morocco to make it a second consecutive World Cup final, where they’ll face Argentina.

Theo Hernandez gave Didier Deschamps’ side an early five minutes lead, before cRandal Kolo Muani came off the bench to seal the victory in the 79th minute.

Morocco might have lost, but they will leave the tournament with their heads held very high having seen off the likes of Belgium, Spain and Portugal and become the first African country to make it to the Semi Final of a World Cup.

France will defend their title against Argentina on Sunday in a final which promises to be an absolute cracker, with Messi looking to get his hands on a world cup trophy for the first time, while France are hoping to become the first country to retain the World Cup in 60 years, after Brazil did it in 1958 and 1962.
