World Cup: Wales pull late leveller against USA in historic opener
After waiting for 64 years, Wales finally got a taste of what it feels like to score at the World Cup in a 1-1 draw against USA.
The Welsh national team trailed USA by a first half lone goal by Tim Weah.
Despite playing second fiddle to the US for most part of the game, the men in Red remained resolute till a lifeline presented itself late on in the game, as Captain, Gareth Bale took center stage and made no mistakes from the spot to salvage a much needed point for his country, sending his countrymen right into uncontrollably excitement.
Both countries are in Group B, alongside England and Iran, with England topping the group after a stellar 6-2 win over Iran.
