At the 50th birthday celebration of Fuji Maestro, KS1 Malaika, singer Portable met with Foluke Daramola and some other top Nollywood stars.
In a video from the event that was shared online, Portable was seen greeting several Yoruba actresses, including Foluke Daramola, who graced the occasion.
Foluke, however, appeared very elated to see the controversial artiste. She asked for his contact information and expressed her desire to feature him in one of her upcoming movies.
After the conversation, Foluke asked Portable to take a photo with her, and he obliged. However, after striking a number of poses with the actress, Portable, who is known for his bluntness, expressed surprise that Foluke wanted many photos with him given their shared status as celebrities.
“You are also a celebrity, but you want to kill me with photos,” he said in Yoruba.
In other news, Big Brother Naija star and podcaster, Doyinsola Anuoluwapo David, has issued a warning to people desiring to become a celebrity.
Doyin in a Twitter post advised people without money or a good support system not to become a public figure because it costs a lot of money to thrive as a celebrity in the Nigerian entertainment space, hence people without funds should reconsider getting into the space.
“I’ll tell you this much….the public figure lifestyle is damn expensive! Long story short….do not get into this space if you don’t have money or a solid support system. You need money to make money”.
